Spin

Spin, or Spinning, classes (whatever the title) are an indoor cycling workout where you ride to the rhythm of powerful music.

The instructor may use a variety of ways to lead the pack through hills, flats, mountain peaks, time trials, and interval training.

Find the athlete within yourself; sweat and burn calories like never before to reach your maximum high. The Spin Studio is for anyone who wants to get fit, lose body fat and achieve maximum results.

The class is usually 45 minutes long however some classes can sometimes run for an hour. At the beginning, the pace is easier and resistance lighter to get your legs warm. Speed along with intensity increase as you work toward your own pace. You’ll warm up during the series of full-on hill climbs that aim to test your strength and cycling interval drills that test your endurance. The recovery time will be just enough to give you the energy to attack the next challenge. At the end of the class your journey will end with a team riding home together.

Recovery at the end is essential including the all-important stretch and no dogs snapping at your ankles.
